The following list provides an overview of the information that the University of Northern Colorado and other U.S. institutions of higher education are required to provide to current and prospective students, parents, and employees so that they may make informed decisions about post-secondary education.
The list provides links to other departmental sites that disclose specific information that is in compliance with The Higher Education Act of 1965 (HEA), as amended by the Higher Education Opportunity Act of 2008 (HEOA). Campus Safety and Security
In compliance with the Clery Act, the most recent University of Northern Colorado Annual Campus Security and Fire Safety Report is available online to view and/or download. A paper copy can be requested at the UNC Police Department. This report contains crime statistics and policy statements related to safety, conduct processes, and Title IX investigations. As required by HEA, the Missing Persons policy can be found within this report.

The Cyber Security team at UNC manages the information used by and through the university to ensure personal and universal security. From scanned emails to firewall parameters, and software encryption to virus protection, the security team ensures that the university can operate efficiently and safely at all times.
Peer-to-Peer File Sharing for Students
Unauthorized distribution of copyrighted material, including unauthorized peer-to-peer file sharing, may subject students to civil and criminal liabilities. Violation of federal copyright laws may result in monetary penalties of up to $150,000 and up to 10 years in prison (18 U.S. Code 2319).

Please keep in mind that the estimate is based upon the information that you have provided. Transfer of Credit Policies, Transfer Guide and Articulation Agreements
Transfer Evaluations occur automatically when your application for admission is completed. This evaluation is a two-phase process and will include review by the Office of Admissions and Academic Department.
The Transfer Guide is designed to assist students transferring to the University of Northern Colorado and shows the transferability of courses from Colorado public community colleges to UNC. It includes but is not limited to Guaranteed Pathway (gtP) courses determined by the State of Colorado.
Statewide Articulation Guides are agreements between the public two-year and four-year colleges and universities in the State of Colorado. These agreements indicate which courses from the two-year colleges will transfer to four-year colleges/universities as part of a particular bachelor’s degree program.

The University Center will be a Weld County polling location, so if your legal residence is also in Weld County, you can vote here at UNC.
To be eligible to register a person must:
- Have been a resident of Colorado for at least 30 days PRIOR to election date
- Be at least 18 years of age on or before the Election Date
- Be a legal citizen of the U.S.
